1. Who We Are

WefixSound operates wefixsound.com and app.wefixsound.com — a professional audio restoration platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our services. Contact: hello@wefixsound.com

2. Data We Collect

Account data

Name, email address, and password hash when you register. Optionally, Google or Apple account identifiers if you use OAuth login.

Order data

Details of audio restoration orders you submit, including title, notes, source URLs, uploaded audio files, and communications with engineers.

Payment data

Payment is processed by PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers or financial credentials. We receive a transaction ID, amount, and status from PayPal.

Usage data

Basic analytics (pages visited, features used) via Vercel Analytics — no cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.

Enforcement data

When an account is suspended or banned for violations of our Terms of Service, we retain relevant enforcement information including email address, account identifiers, the reason for suspension, and the date of action. This data is stored solely for the purpose of preventing re-registration and protecting the Platform from repeat abuse, and is not used for any other purpose.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and manage audio restoration services
To process payments and issue receipts
To send transactional emails (order status, sample ready, delivery)
To respond to support requests
To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the Platform from abuse
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Audio Files

Audio files you upload are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 object storage. They are accessible only to you and the assigned engineer for the duration of the project. Files are deleted 90 days after order completion, or immediately upon your request.

5. Third-Party Services

PayPal — payment processing
Cloudflare R2 — secure file storage
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy law, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Object to or restrict processing
Data portability (receive your data in machine-readable format)

Please note that the right to deletion does not apply to enforcement data retained for the legitimate purpose of preventing abuse, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Cookies

We use only a single session cookie for authentication purposes. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that require consent.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Audio files are deleted 90 days after project completion. Enforcement data (ban records) is retained indefinitely for abuse prevention purposes. You may request deletion of your account and all associated non-enforcement data at any time by contacting hello@wefixsound.com.

9. Audio Converter (iOS App)

Audio Converter is a standalone iOS utility for converting audio files between formats. It operates entirely on-device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

All audio processing is performed locally on your device.
No audio files, metadata, or usage data are sent to our servers or any third party.
No account or login is required.
No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries are included in the app.
