Our Satisfaction Guarantee

You never pay for work you haven't approved. Every project starts with a free sample clip — you hear the result before spending anything. Only after you explicitly approve the sample and the quoted price does payment proceed.

Free Sample (Pre-Payment)

Before any payment is taken, we process a representative sample of your audio (typically 30–60 seconds) at no charge. If the sample does not meet your expectations, you are under no obligation to proceed. Simply decline the sample — no questions asked, no charge.

Post-Payment Refunds

Once you have approved the sample and paid for the full project, refunds are available in the following circumstances:

  • Delivery failure

    If we fail to deliver the completed audio within the agreed timeframe with no communication, a full refund is issued automatically.

  • Material deviation from agreed scope

    If the delivered audio materially fails to address the restoration issues identified in the approved sample — for example, noise that was clearly removed in the sample is still present in the delivered file — you are eligible for a full refund or a free re-delivery.

  • Technical error

    If the delivered file is corrupted, unplayable, or the wrong file, we will re-deliver immediately. If re-delivery is not possible within 24 hours, a full refund is issued.

Refund Timeline

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method, subject to PayPal's standard processing timelines.

What Is Not Refundable

  • Change of mind after approving an accurately delivered restoration (the free sample exists precisely to prevent this situation)
  • Requests submitted more than 7 days after delivery
  • Dissatisfaction due to the inherent limitations of severely damaged or degraded source material, where such limitations were disclosed or reasonably apparent before payment
  • Dissatisfaction with aspects of the result that were not part of the agreed restoration scope or were not present in the approved sample
  • Orders terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We take unauthorised chargebacks seriously. Before initiating a dispute through PayPal or your bank, you are required to contact us at hello@wefixsound.com and allow us at least 5 business days to resolve the issue. We resolve legitimate complaints promptly and in good faith.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us, or filing a chargeback for a completed and accurately delivered order, constitutes a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in permanent suspension of your account. We will contest any fraudulent chargeback and provide all available documentation to the payment processor.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@wefixsound.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We respond within 24 hours on business days. You can also use the messaging thread on your order page in the app.
